Teen Gaming Group

Digital Literacy Trainer, John Namey hosts a bi-weekly gaming group for teens in grades 6-12.  The groups meets at the Library's Simak Welcome Center for some friendly competition with video games and the opportunity to try out new technology like the new Oculus Quest virtual reality headset. Snacks are provided. This event is made possible by a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio.*The Teen Gaming Group will resume after the library re-opens. 

Pop-Up Library  

 

Amber Cleveland, Youth Services and Outreach Coordinator, brings the library to Braden Middle School and Edgewood High School once a month during lunch periods for students to browse new books, learn about our upcoming library events and resources, have hands on fun with STEM learning tools and sign-up for a library card.
